Hi backers,
Can you believe we are now in our final week of the campaign? Thank you again to all of you for being so engaged and supportive these past 3 weeks.
Patented honeycomb paper wrapper
It has taken us months but we did it! We found a patented environmentally friendly kraft paper wrap! We want to send each bottle to you "naked", without any single-use outer box. We definitely wanted to avoid using (evil laugh here) plastic bubble wrap. This A-M-A-Z-I-N-G paper wrapper uses a patented 3D honeycomb structure that locks the angled paper cells together, allowing us to send our face wash to you safely and securely - without the need for adhesive tape or cutting. YAY!
Here is an ASRM moment filmed last week, while still in COVID lock-down... of us wrapping a bamboo bottle in a tissue interleaf followed by the paper wrap. This Marie Kondo moment was most satisfying!
Aluminum seal to keep the face wash moisture-proof
Aluminum is one of the most environmentally-friendly packaging materials—the lightweight metal can be recycled an infinite number of times without any loss of quality; three-quarters of all aluminum ever smelted remains in use.
We were previously told we had to use seals with plastic foams to keep the anhydrous (waterless) formula moisture-proof. Well, we found a partner who is able to seal both our bottles with aluminum seals. This will keep the facial powder wash dry and effective for you; while allowing us to say NO to plastics. Woo-hoo!

At stretch goal $18K, every pledge with reward will come with an extra aluminum refill bottle. That is equal to 60 extra face washes!
At stretch goal $20K, we will throw in one handmade cold-press shampoo bar (yeah, still waterless 💧). They are made in small batches with the freshest ingredients grown on a farm in Punjab, India. It takes 5 weeks to produce one batch at this 40-year-old family artisanal business. And as with all our waterless products, the shampoo bar is vegan, cruelty-free, and free of parabens.
Your stretch goal pledges will play a part in buying basic necessities (stationery such as pencils✏️ , paper) for the school-going children of the farmworkers. Thank you for joining our #bhumantribe 💚
